Buy some DVDs!

I ventured out to Norfolk this evening to pick up the Spider-Man 2 DVD. I'm so happy I saw Nick Nord there. I was hoping they had some gift sets and they did.

The nice thing about Midnight shopping is the product is cheaper on it's release night at Walmart. I got Star Wars for $42-45 when it's normally $50. The Spider-Man 2 DVD is $15 when it will be $20 in a few hours and the gift set is $35 when it will be $45-50.

One thing angers me about my procrastination: I decided to buy the first one last semester after getting tired of borrowing it. The DVD was $15 while the gift set was $50. I got the DVD. Then a Deluxe Edition was released weeks after I bought the movie with an extra DVD priced at $20...kicking myself. Then I now see the gift set is now $20 and the Deluxe is $15...kicking myself a little harder. It would've been ice to have some of the extras, but what can you do?

I will most likely be busy tomorrow watching the movie, followed by watching it again with the commentary and pop-up factoids on.

I leave you tonight with a capture from Jester's favorite scene: Posted by Hello

Janet Roney fired?

This seems to be the big news across campus. Here's the lowdown:

NEWS: On Saturday night the Wayne Police Department received two citizen reports of anunderage drinking party in the 200 block of Blaine Street. When officers responded shortly before 11:00 pm they found 31 minors, ranging in age from 15 to 18, drinking at the party. All 31 minors will be formally charged with Minor in Possession/Consumption of Alcohol in the near future. A 21-year-old, Dylan Rohde has been arrested for Procuring Alcohol for Minors, for allegedly providing the keg of beer at the party. Formal charges against Rohde are pending in Wayne County Court.

There is a debate on the WSC Underground forums about if she will be terminated or not. I have put my two cents on there:
I did have her in class today. I don't think she fears much. She was fairly open with us about the incident. She said it was in the last page of the Wayne Herald and she said on the front page of the Norfolk paper. She mentioned that she didn't remember the last time there was an emergency meeting of the school board today, though.

For those saying she goes to class drunk, that's just Janet. She showed up during the class before the one acts without makeup on freaking out about it. Some of her good quotes from that day are here. She just seemed dead tired and stressed out than drunk, but that's just my opinion. I'm not saying she has never gone to class drunk, but this semester, this event was the only thing close, and she may have been drunk, I just don't think so.

It sounded like she left it up to Dylan to use his judgement whether or not to get the keg because she wasn't going to be there. If you think that's bad parenting, that's just Janet with her daughter. That's simply how there are.

I don't think she should fired, she wasn't even there and it's not enough to get her fired. Frankly, I'd hate to see who would want to take her job. It's not like Gwen knows most of the technicals. But, that's just my opinion.

Well, that's all I know on it. If there's any more, check out the thread below:

Coming Soon! has reported a rumor that the producer of the Alien franchise has approached Bungie about adapting Halo into a movie. One of the persons involved has confirmed hat the talked to director Ridley Scott about a possible film. The article says that Bungie will only license the rights if both Scott and the Alien guy is on board.

Spider-Man 2: The Game for PS2 for $22

If you were one of the smart ones, you may have went to Best Buy this morning. One of their amazing deals was Spider-Man 2: The Game for $20. I at first thought that one of my relatives was going to need a cheap copy rather than pay $50 for a present. Unfortunately, the parents already picked up one and braved the lines for 2 hours. I now have an extra, unopened copy of the game.

I am willing to part with Spider-Man 2 for PS2, unopened, for $22 ($20+tax) because the sale is, of course, over.

I am limiting this deal to WSC students or anyone else who knows where I live because I am a lazy college student and I don't want to have to deal with shipping and crap...unless a better offer arises. Sorry to make this kinda a fast post but I will probably be returning it tomorrow night or Sunday morning so I will wait for an overambitious WSC student to find my blog and let me know, i.e. Jester if he liked it that much. I want to return or sell it before I go back up to Wayne so I don't still have it over Christmas break. I'd rather have my money than a profit.

Opening Day Review of "Alexander"

OK, the movie was good, but long. You come into movies with certain expectations and sometimes you get things you didn't expect. You expect a movie called "Alexander" would talk talk about the Great's conquests when really it speaks more of his personal life. As many historians know, Alexander the Great was a famed bisexual: he had 3 wives, his long-time male lover Hephastion, and has enjoyed eunuchs. This was subtle when alluded to in several parts.

Alexander was portrayed as a great visionary. He wanted to keep going but his army wanted to go home. He was just a dreamer in a wrong time. The Greeks were willing to accept the Persian's defeat and go home while Alexander was not willing to accept the boundaries of the known world. This quest prolonged the movie to its 3 hour running time. The movie's end feels tragic and felt annoying to me because of the Greek's attitude.

There was another annoyance: the subtitling. Many times in the film the location is subtitled in the bottom-left corner, and I mean many, many, many times. Some are implicit and not necessary, whereas other scenes may have needed it.

I have to give credit to several actors: Angelina Jolie looked great as a Greek queen. Colin Farrell was good in his role, but had some awkward scenes. Also the kid who played young Alexander really looked like a young Colin Farrell.

This movie would get more points with me if it had a solid soundtrack. (I've decided to make this the topic of my next Composition paper) The movie was good but needed to be accented with an emotional score. There were no themes or musical motifs and it was lacking at scenes. This reminds me of Terminator 3 when they didn't include the T2 soundtrack in any way (probably due to copyright). A better, more apparent soundtrack would boost this movies score with me.

Aside from this, it is an enjoyable movie to see, just make sure you have the time to see it, because it is 3 hours.

My rating: 7 out of 10
DVD-worthy: Not for $20; $15, maybe

Opening Day Movies

There is nothing like an opening day movie. If you have never been to one I suggest you do. I have never been to a Lord of the Rings opening showing because of the masses.

Here are the movies I have been to on opening day:
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Austin Powers in: Goldmember
Die Another Day
Star Trek: Nemesis
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
X2: X-Men United
Spider-Man 2 (midnight showing)
Alexander

Even though there are several lines and they may be sold out and packed, it is well worth it. All the jokes are fresh and usually no one is behind you saying "Oh this is a good part" or "I hate this part" because if they are, they are very sad.

By the way, I did AudioBlog my comments on Alexander today right after I got out, so if it doesn't show up, I'll type in a more detailed review tomorrow or whenever. Until then, have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Adware, adware, everywhere!

I'm off for Thanksgiving break now so I decided to visit my favorite cousins! After recieving several popups on their computer (even from Blogger!) I decided to install and run Ad-Aware to get rid of it.

After a nice, surprisingly quick scan, the final total was: 2581!

"2581 objects found" is largest Ad-Aware count I have ever personally seen. For that, I must award them the use of this page.

Knock 'em out the box, Luke

It's not the East or the West Side...
No, it's not.
It's not the North or the South Side...
No, it's not.
It's the Dark Side!
You are correct.
You can't front in the Empire.
To all you Vader haters out there:
We'll blow your planet up!

What is thy bidding, my master?
It's a disaster--Skywalker, we're after.
What if he can be turned to the Dark Side?
Yes, he'd be a powerful ally. Another Dark Jedi...
He will join us or die!

We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
We got Death Star...Death Star!
And you know that we got it...Death Star!
And you know that we got it...Death Star!

Luke, get your ass over here right now,
and quit monkeying with that damn landspeeder.
Where are them two droids I asked you to clean, boy?
Did you clean your room?
Uncle Owen, I know I'm on probation;
I cleaned the droids,
Can I go to the Toche Station?
I got a layaway on a power converter,
but now you're treating me like a scruffy nerf herder

Luke...use the Force, and run
Run to Dagobah,
Run to Dagobah
Luke...use the Force, and run
Run to Dagobah,
Run to Dagobah

I'm Yoda, I'm a soldja.
I'll mold ya, then fold ya,
I thought I told ya--
Don't be unwise, judge me not by my size.
You won't believe your eyes.
Watch the X-wing rise.

Yoda, why you bein' a player-hater?
You know that I still must confront Lord Vader.
But, Luke, not ready are you!
But there's a city in the clouds where they're keeping my crew.
A Jedi's gotta do what a Jedi's gotta do.
So, now, Vader, I'm comin' for you.

That's right, R-2; I just set a new course.
We're going to Cloud City.
Hmm, that's some mighty good gin n' tonic.
Would you mix me up another?

Impressive. Now, release your anger!
You must have sensed your friends were in danger.
Oww! Why'd you slice off my hand?
It's imperative that you understand.
Obi Wan would never bother
Telling you about your father.
He told me enough--he told me you killed him!
Then there's something I must reveal, then.

I'm your father...I'm your father...
I'm your father...I'm your father...
I'm your father...I'm your father...
I'm your father...I'm your father...
Knock 'em out the box, Luke, knock him out...
Knock 'em out the box, Luke, knock him out...
Knock 'em out the box, Luke, knock him out...

More Sux City

Today was fun. Amie, Patti, Rhea, Nicole and I went to Sioux City because I wanted a hat from Aeropostale and some stuff from Hot Topic. After trying to figure out how to fit 5 people in my Sunfire we we off. I picked up a couple wristbands and a couple pins from Hot Topic and got my hat, with Rhea's wonderful fashion sense. After FYE, we realized we were running out of time and we still had to go to the game store in the mall to see if there are any suitable replacements for Trivial Pursuit. We decided not to go and head over to the castle-shaped toy store I forgot the name of across from the mall.

I had a fun time and I think everyone else did. I leave you all with a quote from last night's DDR:
Bri: "Oh, it's kinda like Tetris!"

"I never leave the house without my makeup on"

Janet comes late to our class, without shoes and makeup staring off into space. She had several great quotes:

"I look like hell."
"You can look at me, I'm not dying."
"Who knows how to tap a keg? That seems to be the big question."
"See this...makeup...NO!"
"Shit, man...I haven't been to bed in 3 days."
"Have you ever seen me like this? This tired?"
"You trust a 16-year old, that's what you get."
"Do you see that at the end of movies? CSA? LOOK FOR IT, It's there...Jesus!"
"Shut up!" (Janet proceeds to hit Sarah) "Leave me alone!"
(about Boy) "No offense, no offense, he's fucked!"
"I'm sorry, I look like shit. I'm sorry I never leave the house looking like this."
(to Adam Nathan) "Help me back up. What was I talking about?"
"Turn your damn phone off! Biatch!"
"Go: 'YES WE KNOW YOU'RE NOT CRAZY!'"
"You're wondering why I left the house without my makeup on."
"When Mark decides to be a professional actor, he's going to want to talk to a franchise agent."
"You never say a damn thing."
"I never leave the house without my makeup on."
"You are so quiet, you are so quiet. I don't think I've heard you say 4 words."
"I never leave the house without my makeup on."
"I'm waiting for someone to pick me up."
"I don't intimidate, really." (to Adam Nathan) "Wait a minute!"
"I made a football player cry once. I almost got fired."

Striving to achieve a higher plane of existence... Posted by Hello

Rock 'N Roll, Cleveland!

After Anchorman, I got an IM from Rhea saying there will be Trivial Pursuit at 9:30.

After waiting for the play people to get done, we played. I stole 2 pies during the first round. Nicole decided to sit this one out because of studying. I won with all pies and the final question, Amie got 2nd with a rockin' 4 pies, followed by Patti and then Rhea with none. :(

I do have some good videos (right-click, save target as...):
Amie's question was: Who was Dick Clark's partner in the world of Bloopers and Practical Jokes? She knew it was Ed McMahon, but couldn't think of the name. Here is her reaction when she was told the answer.

After I got my final pie, here is Patti's reaction as she takes it out on my Atari 2600 Controller token.

Amie was asked by Patti: What city is 8 Mile set in? She didn't know and Patti was freaking out because she knows everything about Eminem. After that, I was trying to get a crayon to write the question down and stumbled over my own legs and fell over and this orgy of mass laughter ensued.

Disclaimer: The movies may not work at first because the files are somewhat big and GeoCities is not known for it's huge bandwidth. If the links don't work, wait a few hours for the buffer to reset or email me for them.

Attention: All WSC Bloggers/Journals

Rhea at the Wayne Stater will be doing an article about blogs/online journals. She said it on her's, but I'll repeat it...

Ok, so I know you all love your livejournals, or blogs... would you like the addresses published in the Stater? It can be anonymous-with no name-just as long as I know you're from Wayne State. Just e-mail me, thanx.

You can let her know by emailing her or emailing the Stater.

Rhea's Journal Post

Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast!

I went to go see Anchorman tonight with SB. It was good. I call it a combination of the news, 70s movies, and Superfriends.

I love the not-quite swearing such as: Great Odin's raven! Son of a bee-sting! Knights of Columbus, that hurt! and By the beard of Zeus! Very tasteful.

The cameos were nice with Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Fred Armisen, Jack Black, and Ben Stiller. The best scene has to be when Jack Black's character punts Ron Burgundy's dog off a bridge. Nice. But then, it's always the animals that save the day.

He THREW a CHILD!! --> He PUNTED a DOG!!

DVD Worthy = good, but I'll probably wait until it's cheap.

Who says the darndest things?

Amie was feeling down about her roommate leaving so I decided to go over and pay a visit and play some Trivial Pursuit DVD Pop Culture. And Nicole and Patti found out so they played too.

Best questions unknown to Nicole:
Who says the darndest things? Kids!
What country is Alanis Morisette from? not Britain! Canada

We determined that we have to watch A Christmas Story, The Money Pit, and Joe's Apartment from questions and conversation. I technically one with 5 pies, but I'll give props to Patti with her 4 and answering the final question and to Amie with 3 and Nicole with...um...1. But anyways, now they think I'm bipolar but I was not the one throwing cheese, Rhea!

When we checked ut we got crap from f-in Luke because it was late. Amie went into her squeaky voice when he gave her a warning. The kid turned down cash, sexual favors, and the promise of breasts for bribes. Now I feel bad for making her get the warning. :(

Well, to end this post on a happy note, here is video (right-click, save as):
Nicole finding out that kids say the darndest things
Patti making noises on a giant ball

Audio Commentary, Part II

OK, I finally got around to seeing Star Wars IV-VI with the commentaries. They're mainly not bad. George Lucas seems very monotone and doesn't really present any new information. I did like how he described the drafting process, such as the whole Jabba's Palace scenes were included because there was nothing else to Return of the Jedi.

The best commentary is, by far, The Empire Strikes Back with the director, Irvin Kershner. He adds some life to the stories by mentioning certain facts, he even voices the guide track for Vader in one part.

There is one scene that gets me every time and I have to comment on it. It's in The Empire Strikes Back when Obi-Wan says "That boy was our only hope" and Yoda says "No, there is another." This tells me that Yoda is the one that knows about the twins, not Obi-Wan. One would assume that being in an astral form, you'd have access to a lot of information and I doubt that Obi-Wan simply forgot such a fact. I could see Padmé talking to Yoda about the twins in order to have maximum dark side protection.

There is a scene in ROTJ when Vader becomes aware of sister and says "Obi-Wan was wise to hide her from me" OK, this is coming from the guy who found out not too long ago that Obi-Wan was still alive. He didn't even know he had a son until the Emperor told him in ESB.

Anyways, Yes the commentaries are liveable. If you ever have some free time with the Trilogy, turn them on and you may discover something new.

My Mall of America Experience

OK, all this talk of the people who went to Mall of America last weekend is starting to make me jealous and, as a retrospective, I have decided to tell my Mall of America story. I have watched our trip's DVD because I miss this place a lot.

I came from a graduating class of 20 from a small school called Mead High School. Every year, the senior class gets to use its profits for a trip somewhere. We decided to go to the Mall of America. Before we even left the school, two girls, Megan and Angela were fighting about the fate of a mutual friend, Ashley. I ended up sitting next to Angela and Ashley on the ride up. I was not on good terms with Ashley at the time, but I decided early on that to make this trip as fun as possible, I would bury the hatchet and we never quarreled and really enjoyed each other's company. We stopped at Adair, IA for gas and Megan and Angela were at it again, except this time it was on video. After a 9 hour van ride up to Bloomington we got to our hotel, the Country Inns and Suites directly across from the mall.

Of course, we hit it right away. I love that place. They have a store for everything and they have everything. The first thing we saw was the LEGO store! I went over to Old Navy and picked up some clothes and then we wandered around for a while. The next day we hit the mall hard. We went to Camp Snoopy for a while and then the stores. Everyone wanted to make their own cereal at the Cereal Adventure place, but never got around to it. On the ferris wheel Megan would spit on people below her and later, another classmate, Eric would win one of those mallet strength tester games. He got an inflatable mallet which he would use to pound on people throughout the trip.

The most popular stores our class hit, because Omaha didn't have any of these at the time, were Hollister, Zumiez, and Forever 21. Everyone had a shopping bag from at least one of these stores. We had walkie talkies and I was usually called upon if someone was lost because I have an amazing sense of direction. I bought a Simpsons stein for one of my friends who couldn't come and a 3D puzzle of the Tower of Orthanc from the Lord of the Rings. I also bought a LEGO Imperial Shuttle. I probably bought more and forgot about it. I spent most of the day with Megan and Angela (who reconciled fast) and Ashley and Claire, but we ran into others. Our class would find several opportunities to take group pictures along the way like on the giant LEGOs and on the hotel steps. I found most of the Star Wars characters, such as the LEGO Jango Fett, the Darth Vader near Spencer's, the Stormtrooper at Wizards of the Coast, and the Yoda at the Sharper Image.

We then went over to T.G.I.Friday's as a class for dinner and the waiters tied balloons onto Megan for her birthday last week. We went back to the mall for Camp Snoopy as a class with the exception of future WSC student Nikki Simon and her at-the-time boyfriend Shawn who just simply wandered off. The log ride was awesome and I ended up holding eveyone's stuff, which I didn't mind. When we got back to the hotel, we all attempted to watch Red Dragon on a 13" laptop computer screen (This was before A/V cables and RF Modulators would be understood) while crammed in a hotel room. Our cameraman, Chris, found out his camera had night vision and he started filming more crap. We left the next day and our class was never more united. To this day I still revere the Mall of America for being one of the best social experiences with my graduating class ever.

Sux City

I lost my virginity today...that is, my Sioux City virginity. I had never been there until today. Kate, Mark, and Mr. Green and I went over to the mall for Cinnabon and then went over to the costume shop for the director's showcase. I was happy, and felt like a kid in a candy sotre with all the costume props. We then went back to the mall and I bought a couple wrist cuffs from Hot Topic and then we found Kate's mom so us guys went to Software, Etc. They have my Battle-Damaged Green Halo action figure that I want purely for the plasma rifle. Mark played Donkey Konga there, too. Then we went to Spencer's a found nothing so went over to the food court and met up with Kate. I also had my first Orange Julius, it was a tripleberry. Then we went to FYE and found nothing and then to Barnes and Noble and once again, found interesting calenders but overall, nothing. After still not going to Toys 'R Us we returned to the good life.

OK, now that I know where the mall is, I will totally be going back there in the future. It's right off the highway so I won't get lost. I'm so happy!

Red vs. Blue vs. Halo 2

Red vs. Blue released Episode 43 which was amazing how fast they got it done because it incorporates scenes from the Halo sequel. I was wondering how long it would take for them to move from Blood Gulch in Halo to Coagulation in Halo 2.

Watch it now:
Red Vs Blue Video Archive

Adventures in Niehardt

I went over to Bri's room not too long ago and watched some Millionaire, then when Amie got there we played Trivial Pursuit from like the 70s. I was on a roll for a while but then the questions began to suck, especially brown. Brown is evil. G Drive and I won after we stopped playing with 3 wedges. Then Rhea, Patti, and Nicole came back from Casino Night with some cookie dough. I have a picture of Rhea eating the dough, but I won't post it unless she says it's ok. Then we tried to figure out how to smuggle me out because it was like 1:30-ish. I'm not entirely sure what happened during all of it but it was fun. I did learn something though, Bri actually watches MadTV so she understands anything that has to do with Stuart, Lorraine, or Ms. Swan. God, that's cute. Ok, sleep.

She just said I could post it so here's Rhea: Posted by Hello

Halo 2 LAN Results

The first Halo 2 LAN went well. There was a great turnout with more TVs ever. We did learn that you can only have 16 people in a match, but it doesn't matter which box they're on. On a side note, I love the ghost! I killed so many people using the boost and weapons. They probably hat me by now but as I see it, every tends to hide with the rockets or a sniper anyway, I'm simply a fast-moving target. Posted by Hello

In this pic Jimmy and Nord owned all others...

This one was just fun and I got 3rd on the team.

Halo 2: First Thoughts

I am happy about many things in Halo 2. The story seems very interesting and exciting. One thing I noticed is that the Special Collector's Edition has the manual written from the Covenant's perspective, whereas the regular game has it written from the human's perspective. Kinda neat to see what the Grunts and Elites and so forth are called in their native tongue. The one grievance I had was how Bungie was promoting the game, it made it seem like there was not going to be a Halo ring in this game and it was going to be primarily the resistance of the Covenant on Earth; something odd for a game called "Halo 2" to not have a Halo in it. This may be considered a spoiler, but since it doesn't take too long into the game to find it out, but there are scenes on the first Halo and on another Halo, so sorry if I ratted this out, but if you were playing the game, you'd know it by now.

The multiplayer has huge advancements. The things that bothered me were the fact that there are no Default names and that changing players seems clunky. I love the fact that you can join a game already in progress and on any team color you wish. There are a lot more weapons so there becomes a huge orgy of weapon fire on smaller maps. I also love that if you started the game, you can leave it and someone else will take over rather than crashing the system. I was a little disappointed that there are no more pistols, but the dual automatic weapons make up for it. Jester and Mr. Beavers are trying to set up a "Star Wars" match with just energy swords. It is fun, but I told them you need to have the ability to parry. Lightsaber battles wouldn't last very long if the Jedi were killed based on who struck first. Another thing, there are so many customization attributes for your character. And they don't have salmon! Jimmy is salmon! I have to go with purple which looks more like a pale pink as my color now. It also uses icons for the characters, which is nice, especially Jester's kiss and heart icon. Because of this extreme customization, it feels like it may be unnecessary to go and create this character cause it takes a while to get it to look right. But considering you can back out, make a new character, and join the game everyone else is in, it makes up for it. By the way, the Xbox Live Communicator is frickin' sweet for Halo 2. Now you can finally tell people how to set p a map or diss them in-game...or just allow your ADD to run rampant.

Another note, the first Halo 2 LAN will be tomorrow in Morey Lobby at 6:30 pm. There is room for up to 32 people, sure you'll probably be in the whole time.
Other than all that, check out Rhea's article in the Stater tomorrow. She says we will like it.

It's nice to have an Xbox

LucasArts will release a Jabba's Palace map for Battlefront for PC and Xbox after November 19. Sounds cool.

By the way, the new trailer is frickin' sweet and will be online tomorrow on StarWars.com.

Something Cool Is Going Down

TrekToday has a preview of an upcoming episode of Enterprise. Season 4 seems to be all about the 3 episode story arcs and this one sounds good. The first part is about the Andorians and the Tellarites on their way to forming the Federation, but this episode deals with the Romulans.

The Romulans sabotaged an Andorian ship in part I. They have to keep themselves hidden because they don't want Enterprise to find out that they are related to Vulcans. They better keep themselves hidden! We're not supposed to see a Romulan face until Kirk's time. There is some nice continuity with Star Trek: Nemesis with the Reman guards and Captain Valdore. Sounds like a good episode and a nice prelude to the inevitable Earth-Romulan War before the formation of the Federation.

Halo LAN Results

I would have to say that the Niehardt LAN had huge numbers second only to the first LAN. It was great, there were a lot of newbies and returning people from the different LANs which was fun. Jimmy didn't play much by choice and didn't do too well, due to not being good and butt matches. My favorite was: for Jester's birthday (today, now) it was him vs. 15 others. He still won but it's all good. It is sad that this is the last Halo LAN, but I'm sure there will be nostalgia matches in the future. I leave you tonight with a pic of the LAN itself... Reminders...

OK, Time for another Halo LAN! Go on over to Niehardt Lobby Tonight at 9:00pm. Don't feel bad, there may be a large amount of newbies there so be nice.

Also, a new episode of South Park is on tonight at 9:00pm on Comedy Central. This one has to do with Wal-Mart so it should be interesting. I'll watch this then head over to Niehardt.

Halo Speak

I witnessed the funniest thing in Jester's room. After a bunch of butt matches, the Spartan guys, who we guess are the guys who do the Wayne Halo Coalition, start talking in "Halo":Posted by Hello

The entire transcript and translation reads (Pink is Jester for obvious reasons, anything incomplete was understood before it was completed):
L WED ? = "Is there a Halo LAN on Wednesday?"
Yes = "Why, Yes! There is."
WHER = "Where is the Halo LAN on Wednesday?"
NIEHA = "It's in Niehardt Lobby, where rubberducky reigns supreme."
TIME = "What time is the Halo LAN on Wednesday in Neihardt Lobby?"
9:= It's at 9 (colon spelled with a rocket)!"
9:30 = "The Halo LAN is at 9:30" for those guys
PM = "The Halo LAN is at 9:30, PM"
GET 1 MORE = unholy demand
? = "What the hell are you talking about?"
GUY = "This sucks! Get Jimmy on your box so we can rape him in a series of team games!"

Has instant messenging reached a new low? Authorities say no, but my producer says yes.
